Up from now you can register several additional specialisms with IHR Register.
These registrations will be published in your public IHR profile.

Which specialisms are available for registration?

  • Direct hypnosis / Dave Elman scripts
  • Indirect hypnosis
  • Child hypnosis
  • Sport hypnosis
  • Show hypnosis
  • Swan protocol
  • Gastric protocol
Medical-hypnotherapist

The professional title ‘medical-hypnotherapist’ is also added as a registration and certification option. This title is only available for registration if the practitioner is accredited / recognized by a national authority, such as the Minister of Health, in his country of registration as an official medical practitioner. If you are not recognized / accredited as mentioned you have no access to this title. Following a CPD course ‘medical hypnosis’ gives no right to register as ‘medical hypnotherapist’.

Terms and conditions

  • Additional specialisms: you must forward a specialism training certificate. We publish your specialism in your profile.
  • Medical-hypnotherapist: you must forward your official accreditation as medical practitioner. We publish your title in your public profile.
  • No extra costs. Included in the annual registration fee.

IHR Register is the independent and international register for (medical) hypnotherapists and hypnosis-coaches.

  • CPD procedures are updated.
  • In september 2015 we forward the new CPD rules and provide all relevant information. For now in advance:
  • Online entries: With immediate effect you register your CPD data, points and categories by using the pre-entered fields only. You have to keep your CPD records and files for 5 years; individual audits will be executed.
